Layers of shell / walls seam to leak before being broken
as I said I made a sub with a double armor layer however the sub will stark to leak if a single layer of outer shell is damaged , inside seem to work as intended , not sure whats up with this

sorry , ive managed to fix this by seperating each layer into its own room , apparently overlapping armor still leaks even when seperated by room sections unless they are spread out far enough ,I was trying to simply add 2 layers of shell in the same position which doesnt seem to work

To make this work you need to make sure the hull of the room is just barley overlapping the inner shell. I THINK the 2nd shell can't overlap the first one as well. Doing this will allow the top layer to get breached without having the compartment flood.

If you want an example of what I'm talking about you can open this sub in the editor and take a look at the command room, I have set it up to be double hulled so that breaching the outer hull will not cause the inside to leak.

unfortunatly this doesnt seem to work , if you take a cutting tool and destroy the celiing in the room you mentioned it will fill with water before the outer hull is destroyed at all

Yeah it only works one way. If yo go outside and cut into the exterior it won't cause the room to leak till you cut into the 2nd layer. This design is made with external threats in mind, unfortunately it won't help against internal threats.
