There you can also see an example of how you can make a monster detector (with a bit of effort) in the current version (and the version that you'll be playing after the next update): basically a circuit with 2 motion detectors, one that detects any movement and one that only detects humans, and extra logic components to check when only the "any movement" detector triggered.
