The Hidden Ones DLC is pretty much littered with Carbon Crystals, at least. I can't remember how abundant they were in the base game, though, since I've pretty much collected them all long ago.

can no longer buy carbon crystals after hidden ones, my char had evrthin maxed for lvl 40, but when hideens came i cant upgrade coz of crystals. help please, where can i buy,

Nomad's bazaar. That's the place you can buy the crystals from. Or you can just collect them. Unless your game is somehow bugged or something.

Yes, Reda still sells them. He can't seem to give me anymore quests, but he's still selling Heka chests and carbon crystals.

That's good because I just got the DLC and unlocked further upgrades and I've seen very few for the last few character levels and buying them is just too expensive.

I honestly never bought them but instead took my time with the Tombs where I remember seeing them most of the time.

I always thought that Ubisoft wanted to make it something special so that you are kinda enjoy going inside those Tombs and look out for the Carbon Crystals :D
