What is with the cats always congregating around you
It seems anytime you are near any form or type of building you will slowly pick up a following of cats...crazy.

I've only noticed one cat, but maybe that's because I never really stand in one place for long....gotta say, very nice looking cat model and animation (though it did clip through my leg)... I was playing another AAA title fairly recently, forget which one, and the cat was hideous. I thought I was in 2002 for a second.

It's a joke because in Witcher 3 cats will avoid and hiss at you. Also cats are a big part of Egyptian culture.

Maybe it is because Bayek need to take a bath.

Animals like Bayek, especially cats.
I think it is because of the quest "Cat's Cradle" that you end up gaining the favor of the Gods by saving the Cat Protector. Really I think it is kind of funny. And kind of plays in the whole Mythos of Egypt. I mean let us be real here. Bayek, is an interesting character in his own right. Kids love him. Women love him. Men love him. Animals love him....that is debatable. He has so much charisma. That him not even trying can change the flow of the Nile River.

Though of course people are naysayers and end up complaining how bad this game is compared to the others. To be fair. Origins has its own flavor and really. I love the Senu. First ever Spy Drone.

What's with all the necro's lately? o_O

I noticed at some point that they were flocking to him.. I wondered what the trigger was. I had one follow me the entire time I did a quest and it was hilarious.

There was one fort in Sinai where I had a cat literally follow me around the entire time as I killed all the guards. I didn't do it stealthily either.

I noticed this while doing Recover the Merchandise (daily) quest in Psenemphaia Hideout. I noticed that the bandit's hideout held a leopard caged and I freed the leopard, who attacked the bandits while I picked down the bandits with my bow. Then when I started to loot the camp, I noticed three cats following me. :tabbycat:
