Fast Travel Unavailable?
Currently stuck trying to get to Alexandria.

I went back to Siwa to do a quest that I started but now can't get back to Iment Nome because "Fast Travel not Available".

So now I'm stuck because two regions leading to Iment Nome are filled with level 30+ enemies.

That happened to me when i accepted the next mission after completing the story missions in the startter area and fast travelling there, but decided to go back and finish some things, then found once i did i couldnt fast travel back. I got on my horse and spent 15 mins or so going across the desert, up a cliff face and didnt get attacked once even in those higher level areas

Thank you! I did the same, I thought I was stuck. I thought the Animus walls were going to block me, but they didn't.

When you are doing the prologue missions the "greyed out by Animus" areas can't be reached, an Animas wall pops up. But once you get the Aya mission, they "greyed out by Animus" areas can be reached and noting pops up in your way.

Kind of a PITA though, takes a while to go back all the way to Iment Nome. If they allow you to fast travel back like that they should unlock the fast travel marker in Iment Nome immediately. Hopefully they patch that.

I think the fast travel will only work to eagle point areas you personally climb to and unlock, if its just a mission it won't actually transport you there, only as part of the story, probably for the reasons you thought might be a problem; the higher levels in between the areas. I knew that travelling by road would likely see me attacked at some point which is why I did a short cut through the desert ..saw some mirages.. so it was worth it. Yep, no animus nonsense this time..that always took me out of Assassins games, being reminded its all a simulation (even though we're aware on two levels) is game breaking for me.

After attacking a deadhead vulture north of Siwa, and running, and dodging, and running, all the way to the lake so I could dive under and break combat, I never did try to enter those animus walls.

They teach you in AC1 to unlock the 'eagle points' first thing when entering a new area. I guess I never broke that habit.

If you returned to Siwa without unlocking any fast travel points that almost seems to be an oversight on Ubisofts end for game design. (since the areas aren't 'connected')

those fast travel points are not only for fast travel purpose, every time you sync, Senu's perception will increased, making it easier to scan your surrounding.

I am sorry to revive this thread but today while doing the daily reda quest I wanted to fasttravel bakc to siwa and It was n t possible.Either it was greyed out due it was synced or I did hold square and all but I only saw a blackscreen and after that I stood there like before.
