:) That's what I was thinkin'. Just having one to start would be fantastic, lol.
Agreed m8! SLI profiles can really make an insane impact. Anyone tried to make one on this game and care to share the observations?
Might... if that migth happen - happens... ill be one happy fellow with SLI. Heck ill even donate to the "Dont breathe air, its alive!" society!
Why can't we get the same treatment ?
Nobody knows. It's weird though, because every other Ubisoft game using this engine has an SLI profile that works really well.
Neither I using a six cores 5930k.
Neither here. I have 18% CPU usage (I9 7920X) and 100% 1080 Ti
That is quite a statement.. You assume you have the best cpu in the world and they all bottleneck like yours? Is this conclusion taking into account that you have the correct motherboard paired with the cpu? If you are just someone that buys a bargain motherboard and the "correct socket" cpu you found on sale, without care of the northbridge and southbridge chips, then I imagine you probably do have bottleneck issues with any junk computer you have been building. I hope you don't charge people to build them pc's.
I just have a i7-5820K but on the asus X99-A board. It has pci-e 3.0 x16/x16 for sli so that it uses each card evenly. Is it using 100% of each card? Probably not but that's how they are engineered so we will always have to pay the companies for upgrades. The cpu has never bottlenecked and when SLI is working, this setup is phenomenal. I can't wait til the 1080 ti come down in price so I can upgrade the VRAM to 22GB in SLI. 22GB!! About time they sell us gpu with this much vram.
If you are not on the sli band wagon becuase there is no way to get top tier sli cheap, don't sit around typing dumb comments like "everyone is cpu bottlenecked, your second card [just sits there doing nothing]"
I apologize if you are just a kid and this sounded harsh.
Sorry, but two 1080TIs doesn't give you 22GB of VRAM. Sure, you have 22GB of physical memory, but running SLI does not double the size of avaiable VRAM to the game. Each card has it's own frame buffer & must use it's own VRAM, therefore you still have only 11GB of "useable" VRAM.
