PC Mod Fix Dump
This isn't a discussion piece, this is 100% a thread that will act as a dump for all of the mod-related fixes for MH:W PC that I will update accordingly, right up until Capcom fixes all of this themselves.

Thunder fix:

Elder's recess fix:

Teostra fix *INSTALL BOTH!*:

Texture fix:

CPU usage fix:

Non-16:9 Aspect Ratio fix:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/582010/discussions/3/1735462352467059599/?ctp=4

Dualshock prompts fix:

Switch Pro Controller prompts:

And thank you to the modders who did what Capcom wouldn't. Also, NVIDIA users, make sure you're using the latest driver, this one is new and it doesn't have the problems the old one did, I got a 5FPS boost by updating so it's worth something.

Also basic knowledge such as keeping Volumetric Rendering and Foliage Sway turned off if you're struggling in the FPS department still applies with or without any of these fixes. You will need to fine-tune your settings yourself to get the optimal experience performance-wise. These mods don't really change FPS, the closest thing accomplished is fixing 99% of the frame pacing issues the game has.

If you're having crashes or other issues, I recommend the official Capcom thread on this subforum. It's very active and a lot of people have pitched potential workarounds or fixes for such issues there, just be sure to read through it.. it's a long thread.

I doubt it'll be pinned, but I'll keep it up to date regardless.

you'd better bump it once in 12 hours :)

Yeah, I didn't name it as Special K as it's easy to see that mod by title and assume it's purely for aesthetic additions and such like HDR. So just saying CPU Usage Fix seemed like a better bet as it tells people to read into the mod further where-as the actual title of the mod could be confusing for some.

well, i didn't know about that teostra fix, so thank you for that.now if there was one for kushala, my experience would be complete :D

To have these mods required to have a somewhat passable PC port quality should be an embarrassment for CAPCOM, but somehow, I don't think they care.

I'm keeping an eye on the two discords I know of and the nexus for updates or new mods related to game fixes, so anything that drifts onto the landscape should wind up in the OP within 12 or so hours of it becoming a thing. I'm not going to bump this thread constantly or anything and I highly doubt it'll be pinned, so for those who care just bookmark it or come back periodically to check the OP for updates. I will ONLY bump the thread when a new mod / fix update releases, otherwise the natural flow of posts is all that will be supporting it.. so don't be shocked if it gets buried.
