Sure does, just still a huge cut.
After spending most of the last (give or take a couple days) week looking into shaders, HLSL, and shader tools, I have managed to dump one of the vertex shaders for the HUD, edit it, and override the original via a .dll proxy.
The edit was simply me breaking the HUD on purpose to see if it worked, and that's as far as I have gotten so far. I hope to have more concrete progress to show you guys very soon.

The 'super ultrawide' ones I can understand, but they should still be fine at a 21:9 position.
At least, this is how I feel on my 29". If you've got a 35" or something I can understand it being problematic, but I personally can't stand centered HUDs.
