As for just changing name? No one knows.
It's stupid still that they don't allow you to change your name too since it would be easy to do.
I guess the Devs wanted to teach players to take responsabilities about their choices.
So no you gotta stick with your name.
although i am curious if changing your name is that easy why do they not allow it legit. seems like they are hiding something.
I almost have to imagine that as soon as Denuvo is defeated for this game Capcom's going to be unprepared and pirates will be accessing the online component of the game.
Hell, hex editors are barely capable of doing any significant modification to a game, they're basically the Notepad of modding. You can make some simple edits that someone else has already figured out for you, but those will generally have been analyzed using something more sophisticated.
You need a debugger, disassembler or some combination of both (Cheat Engine is this) to do anything noteworthy.
