There. Is that finally reason enough to hate Denuvo now, or am I just being 'entitled'? Not to mention the fact they spent time, money and dev resources on putting Denuvo IN THE GAME when they could have spent that time, money and resources into making the port decent.

Anyone still want to step up and talk about how lovely Denuvo is now?

The only guy still cracking denuvo is now permantly out of the game. So there are no people cracking denuvo. Not that it made much differnse becuase all the people cracking denuvo were just using techniques pioneered by the guy who was arrested. We may see a few 4.9 denuvo cracks drop in the future but probably won't see any from the next few versions of denuvo at all.

Yes those were done by Voksi who was recently arrested. He is the only person who has cracked 4.9 denuvo. Fun fact games that have been cracked such as far cry 5, there dlc has not been cracked. Anti Denuvo has slowed down to a stop as far as the CrackWatch community is concerned.

Hardly bait, he posted similar threads on multiple games with denuvo. Stirring the ♥♥♥♥ pot to see if he can make more people vocally pissed about denuvo isn't neccesarily what people ususally call bait. Bait is usually just trying to get a rise for the sake a of a rise unless I'm misunderstanding.

It's possible, but human beings are difficult :P

OP wasn't complaining about the game to begin with. He was complaining about denuvo being bad because this new Linux plays windows game system steam is working on to replace "WINE" had a written stipulation

denuvo is just a loss of money, performance, and time. Denuvo is just taking the money at this point, they knew they will be cracked to make pay more the companies, nothing less

It's not just anti piracy " ellegedly " it's supposed to be anti tamper too but developers and publishers just wave that flag as an excuse to slap DRM on a product because they're too shortsighted to see it doesn't protect the title at all and also makes things difficult for paying customers. For instance my last system would not run a denuvo game over 30 minutes without it CTDing. It happened with Lords of the Fallen, it happened with Doom, it happened with Total War Warhammer, and it happened with battlefield 1. None of them, save Doom, was ever seen to as far as I'm aware. I was too pissed to go back and check most of them, but as far as I know only Doom and possibly TW:Warhammer had theirs removed (apparently no it didn't so ♥♥♥♥ game's workshop). This system, fortunately doesn't have that issue, but I'm running specs your average user doesn't, so expecting everyone to be able to jump through those same hoops is not only insulting to the consumer, it's bad business and near sighted arrogance from the people making the decision to include it.

It WON'T work with it, if you saw my previous post, I mentioned that Denuvo 100% will not work with Linux. Dawn of War 3, the Linux version doesn't seem to have Denuvo, as far as I can tell. Denuvo does not, cannot work on Linux, it broke DOOM with WINE earlier and Denuvo confirmed. No Denuvo on Linux, period.

So, now this brings me to the next question. Are the games running on Linux with Proton running WITHOUT Denuvo protection? That's the only thing that makes sense, and if so, that'll make me quite happy. Now I can get Denuvo free versions without a problem.
