Yeah mostly because you have to do the fight at 5 fps because he spams the screen full of tornados.

I never realized that Kushy was so difficult. I mean I'm generally a lancer that dables in GS, SnS, HBG, and HH every now and then. Maybe try those weapons if your current one frustrates you? There's 14 to choose from and 'maining' one in particular gives you no real benefits.

You have to approach the guy with a bit more thought. If that offends you then I guess this point is already moot. But taking sling ammo like crystal burst can offset the lack of flash bombs, if its a tempered daora.

Kushy still has the same mechanics as any old MonHun monster. A straight hits you type that doesn't even hit that hard. Honestly his attacks are so traditional that Nergigante and Teostra are much harder targets in my opinion. Those two have either tracking hits that hit hard (both), attacks that WILL hit you if you fail to dodge in a particular direction (Nergy), or blast damage that can set you up for insta kills (Teo).

next to Vaal Hazak, he seems the most abusable. Having 3 Flash Pods and extra flashbugs to craft more by each member of the group makes him laughable. Add elderseal weapons and he is just a pushover. You are just bad.

I think its tied to the particle effects which are not working well in the game, for me the FPS is 110 but 3 tornadoes drops it to 28-30, every other boss is fine, if you wont count when daora does the explosion move it stutters for like 1 second but 1 second is fine, its same when using lightning daggers and hitting many parts with the combo at the same time.

I honestly really liked the Kushala Daora fight. Lots of wind everywhere, cool music playing while you're facing off against this big 'ol STEEL DRAGON BOY. And you know, you can just flashbomb him to hell and back. He's probably not the most mechanically interesting but the fight was captivating visually for me, and that was nice. My least favorite elder dragon is actually probably nergigante. His attack patterns are kind of boring and he's really predictable.

Without that I agree he's annoying. With those he's laughably easy. (fk his steel wings tho)

I think he's the only monster I've ever failed to break even a single part of the first time around. Flash + bombs mess him up good tho.

Ironically both him and Teostra do make it feel very ''realistic'' fighting against them. What with the massive fps drops and all.
