What armor set are you wearing? The only time that fireball became is problem is when I'm running away to heal or repair my weapon. I mainly try to stay between his legs attacking towards his face so he can't do anything other than that ground slam.
Anyway, you can try earplugs, but youd probably need level 5 (which is pretty stupid tbh) and im not sure if you have access to that.
Aside from that predicting it and moving out of range or using a move with I-frames could avoid the roar. Fast reflexes might do it as well, but only if theres actually a moment between the roar and fireball hit.
You can dodge this by either rolling to the left or right, forward towards him if you're close enough (Only if you're really ballsy and RNG is required as it doesnt always work).
Haven't gotten hit by it unless Im stunlocked.
He's talking about the famous Rage mode roar into a fireball-jump-into-the-air-and-fly-a-bit-back move which Rathalos does, I think at least.
Its aimbot so it will nearly always hit u but shouldn't kill you.
I got super good at killing raths as their armor is the best early game and i farmed them on the ps4 too...
With dbs you can stun lock them by just spamming their legs lol...
He has a very long wind up before he does that, seriously just roll out it's not that hard.
its not rocket science. its common battle tactical logic.
