Modio folders ID??

Hi guys, I can see where you get the folder ID number for the folder name in mods/modio, so Operation Metro is 115420 but where do you get the folder id number for the folder inside that?? Downloading though the game is painfully slow, I'd rather just download from Mod.IO and install manually but can't without knowing where that other folder name comes from

Subfolders within main mod folder are different version of the same mod..., so whenever a mod is being updated, the older version remains on your pc, same goes for server.

ok thanks for reply TEK. So with say Metro the folder is 115420 but sub folders is 140458 with the two .pak files in. Where does the sub folder ID come from? I can't see a reference to it anywhere on Mod.IO. Also what is the State.json file?

When hovering the mouse over the download button on the mod.io site, you can see the file ID at the bottom status bar of your browser... That is the number you need to give the sub folder

Be aware that the fileID can change if a new version is uploaded

1. GoTo: https://insurgencysandstorm.mod.io/junkyard-by-synthean13
2. Write down the Mod ID: 115402
3. Click down arrow in the cloud
4. Scroll down to " Releases " section and Hover on Trophy of Filedata.zip
5. Bottom left copy the < ID: 141064 >
6. Go to your local Insuregency:Sandstorm location: Steam\steamapps\common\sandstorm\Insurgency\Mods\modio
7. Open folder 115402
8. Right click on State.json and open file in NotePad or NotePad++ (easier to read with this)
9. Scroll down to "modfile" section and under it you should see "iD": < old number >
10. Replace that number with the < 141064 > from Step 5
11. Save it and close the file
12. Create a folder with the Step 5 number: < 141064 >
13. Move filedata.zip from downloads to that folder and right click and extract here option
14. Close everything else and launch Insurgency Sandstorm :D to play JunkYard without waiting for in game download :D
