How to manually install mods?

Some map mods are too large and time-consuming to download in-game. I see on mod.io website that I can download the mod zip files for manual install but what's the process?

The Mods folder in game directory has random numbered folders and then the mods as .pak files.

2. Write down the Mod ID: 115402
3. Click down arrow in the cloud
4. Scroll down to " Releases " section and Hover on Trophy of Filedata.zip
5. Bottom left copy the < ID: 141715 >
6. Go to your local Insuregency:Sandstorm location: Steam\steamapps\common\sandstorm\Insurgency\Mods\modio

8. Right click on State.json and open file in NotePad or NotePad++ (easier to read with this)
9. Scroll down to "modfile" section and under it you should see "iD": < old number >
10. Replace that number with the < 141715 > from Step 5

12. Create a folder with the Step 5 number: < 141715 >
13. Move filedata.zip from downloads to that folder and right click and extract here option
14. Close everything else and launch Insurgency Sandstorm :D to play JunkYard without waiting for in game download :D

so what, the .json has one change in it?? if taken from another mod all you do is change one thing. because so far this pinned guide hasnt helped me achieve ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

hi i just recently get IS installed i chosed these game like it looked great and was not so extremy many gb,s i wanted the normal maps and only 3 additional maps redwood,toro and outpack i adoned them and searched in server browser i tryed to play toro and adictional maps where downloaded without my permision i try to play everyday one of these map and coud only play one extra map once. now in total i have over 33 gb of aditional maps downloaded and my gaming laptop almoust full im angry like i want only these 3 or maximum 5 other maps and not 33 gb in extra map i never play does anybody know what coud i make .
