In-game character customization/choosing

I think it would be nice to change your character appearance loadout while you're already in a game, instead of switching them every time in the main menu. Anyone else agree?

The devs said they arent going to do that because of technical problems, apparently they would have to redo the entire customization code thing to achieve this.

I wish it were so. I hope they can find a way to make a preset instead of a character appearance loadout instead. Where you can click on the presets saved from the main menu

I would like to see the option to choose outfits for classes, though I'm not sure if thats possible with how the coded the customization

Well, there's already a way to change your load out before loading a new map, after map vote.

#1 Join & play with a group of people on official servers, don't be the group leader.
#2 Play a map until it finishes & vote for the map you want to play. Preparing server follows.
#3 During preparing server, everyone but the leader gets to visit the main menu.
#4 You now have 10-15 seconds or so to press the customization menu & select preset.
#5 New map loads up & you will join it with the preset you selected during preparing server.

So make sure to have some saved presets that are easy to click between maps.

You're only able to have this back in main menu moment if you're not the group leader.

You can also only access this short between maps windows while playing with a group.

The functionality to choose outfits per map, is therefore already in the game, sort of.
