I'm not in disagreement about your first comment if the devs limited these scopes purely as a gameplay tool. However, they also now have 4x-1x scopes, which accomplish exactly what I'm proposing but at a lower zoom level, so I'm not convinced they thought this through all the way. I'm suggesting they make a 6x-1x version, which would limit marksmen to a tighter field of view versus 4x, but still allow close quarters capabilities for more realism.
What I'm basically saying is the 6x-3x zoom decision seems very arbitrary when one takes into consideration that the 4x-1x exists now. I mean...who would ever choose the 6x-3x? Why handicap those scopes if other low / hi zoom options exist for the player to choose?
What do you think?
