Launch Error (29) *Solved*
In the last day or so since Triple Hardcore I can no longer start the game. The launch logo appears, EAC loads, and then halts with a full bar and I get Error Code 29. I've verified game files and current settings, made sure my firewall had a bypass/was turned off, and checked my antivirus so far. My specs are:

Win 10
EVGA GTX 970 SSC
16GB DDR4 RAM
Samsung Evo 850 SSD
i7 6700k

Update: New Nightfall update seemed to fix whatever the problem was.

I'm no expert, but according to google search it might be an EAC issue?!

Uninstall EAC

Verify integrity again

Re-install EAC

What do you mean by, checked Antivirus??

Did you change anything on your PC lately? New software?

Can u provide more infos about error code? Right now can't really tell if it's an win-, steam- or eac- error...

Nothing new PC wise besides Insurgency updating. It's an Easy Anti-Cheat problem though. I sent the report, the details are:

Hope you get a quick answer from them. In the meantime google EAC troubleshooting and try all displayed methods. Unfortunately this dumb EAC has caused way too many non-cheaters a ton of problems, so there might be a solution for you out there...

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same problem.

Currently encountering the same issue.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and it just worked the 4th time. Not sure why it suddenly worked.

For me, the issue resolved itself. I had verified game files and reinstalled easy anti-cheat, but it didn't start working the first time I tried after taking these steps.

Hi! I have the same startup problem. Found the reason. I have a cryptographic service error. Because of this, many programs have lost their signature and administrator rights. EAC too. Restarting the cryptographic service resolves the issue.

I got it fixed by uninstalling EAC, redownloading and installing Microsoft Redist x64 and x86, then reinstalled EAC and restarted computer.
