Also, go into steam and check the properties of insurgency: Sandstorm and open the launch command window and type -USEALLAVAILABLECORES and save it.

It made my game smoother, no more stuttering and much better mouse movement. Let me know if it helps!

You can mess around with some of the settings to see if you can get a better quality while still maintaining a decent framerate, these settings are the lowest you can go i believe
For anyone wondering, this doesn't change your settings, but it makes the game look like a potato, very sharp edges with 0 antialiasing, but it also gives you some improvement. I'll go back to normal cause I don't really like playing a modded version of cs 1.6

If you knew anything about computers you would know that this does help people. This was originally intended for alpha/early beta because it was super unoptimized and stuttery and these configs stableized FPS.

does this help with the release version of the game or?

I haven't tested it as the game is better optimized and I don't need it anymore. It lowers some engine based settings and graphics so it should help improve performance.

DOOT Dec 25, 2018 @ 6:33pm
oh yea don't change your game files
i had a post on the forms and a dev responded saying don't change them for now since their anti cheat isn't fully in use yet

I deleted my config file and that compeltely stopped the stuttering for me. I get 70-110 fps on my gtx 960, i5 4670k. I get NO stutters at all, it's buttery smooth.
