Crosshair disappears in sniper scope

Not sure if the problem is only with the sniper scope or if it also affects other scopes. When you aim down sight the actual crosshair is gone in the scope, this happens 20-30% of the time I spawn with the sniper. I've heard people say that you can fix it by changing your "scope setting" to normal but I've had it on normal since the start.

Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone found a fix to this problem until they patch it?
