Runs terrible, virtually unplayable. AMD FX8350, RX 580 8GB, and 32GB of RAM
Tried running this on low settings, tried using some community fixes that existed for the beta, tried using ini settings from other Unreal Engine games (namely ones I've applied from UT4, UT2k4, and Toxikk), I've tried it all. Tried every resolution between 1920x1080 and 2560x1440, updated my system and display drivers, etc. and I'm still getting frame rates reminiscent of the N64 version of Turok 2, texture fudging, pop up (often times have weapons load incomplete or not at all, hands often times not drawn, etc.) and stutter so bad that I have to get my task manager open. I'm running a system that easily exceeds the requirements for running this game, so for it to be in this bad of shape is unnacceptable. I've disabled and enabled freesync, I've tried different refresh rates varying between 60-144hz, I'm in an absolute loss.

game runs like ♥♥♥♥ on a 1080 and i7770k at 5.1GHz. Optimization has already driven a chunk of players away and it will keep going becuase they released this game in a poor state.
Ofc it runs terrible on a 7 year old AMD FX series cpu

I have that same gpu and im getting 90-120 fps everything very high and SS 1.25 since beta.

with 2080ti everything on max, it goes down sometimes on 50 fps, especially with smoke, so I dont beleive you.

Are you installed game to SSD?

using a 1060 6gb and a i5-8500, max settings on 2k 80-90fps, drops only in mortars etc

Runs fine on a 980TI @ 3440x1440 at "High" settings. Haven't tried on Very High, but I'm pretty satisfied given my system is a few years old.

Im on a 1080 and i7 8700, and it is running great for me. While having most settings on high or very high still gets m e around 120fps

I am running an FX-8350, 32gb ram and with a GTX1070. Res is 1920x1080.

I can play the game without issue.

Granted my frames aren't going to be anywhere near my 144hz refresh rate, but I don't dip below 40 fps during intense fights.

Settings are mostly High, but shadows are set to low or off where avaliable. Along with a very low shadow resolution.

This game is very CPU limited, they need to work on that front if they want to release it on consoles. GPU utilization even on very high with a 1060 is a lot of times below 90% and around 60% on Push which means the CPU is it holding back. So in work case with a old FX processor will be even worse.

This can be the answer, because with a simple i5 6500 cpu with 8GB RAM and a RX Vega 56 I can play at 1080 and have 60 fps with everything maxed. I only have small slowdowns when the screen is full of particles from explosions and smoke.

Unreal Engine is CPU intensive. Look at Task Manager or overlay MSI Afterburner in-game and see your CPU/GPU percent usages. I can almost guarantee your CPU is the bottleneck, because your other specs are excellent.

I have a G4560/1050ti/8GB RAM and cap the FPS at 90. Very smooth. Comparing this PENTIUM processor to the 8350, the 8350 benchmarks worse than it. If you're trying to play on even medium settings, you're not going to be able to.

https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-G4560-vs-AMD-FX-8350/3892vs1489

I have to play on Low settings to achieve 90 FPS. Medium gives me 45-60 FPS.
