Hi.

I've rolled out a major update today that fixed a bug where some people could not add a server to the app. If you have tried the app before and had this problem, please try again. If you haven't tried the app then why not give it a try?

The app is free with no in-app purchases or ads.

Wow, thank you so much!! That´s really amazing!

Need to figure out how the custom messaging system works..., not sure if it´s possible to get it to react on people joining and leaving the server, as well as automatic repeat messages for example every few minutes, but I love this tool already.

Yes I've heard rumours that constant rcon messages can degrade server performance, however I shall implement auto messages at some point. I'll also implement the auto-messaging when a new player joins. I just need to work out the architecture. I was actually talking to a friend about that implementation the other day.

I'll also flesh out the console page, so you can type raw commands to the server.

To add custom messages do:

1] Click the sidebar (three hyphens in the top left)
2] Click on Custom Messages
3] Decide which category(ies) you would like the custom message to be added. For instance: General is what I use to send a welcome message and server rules to a new player.
Broadcast is a feature where it simply sends the message to the server (the same as 'say'). I also use this to display server rules.
4] Type the message in the text area at the bottom

That's it!

You can edit the custom messages at any time; you can even change their category.

Yes but the problem with sending a message when the player joins is that they cannot see the message whilst in the loadout screen. So, I shall have to use a timer; send the message after about 30 seconds or so, but then what happens if other people join whilst that timer is ticking away? It's not as easy as you think. It would help greatly if you could see chat messages whilst in the loadout screen.

Can imagine how difficult this must be... Got to read a bit through SAW / SISSM discord, that´s next level to me...

But even if you manage to "only" offer auto-repeat messages for server-rules, that would be
already very nice!
