So you either adjust to this or play some other game.
I'm playing BF2042 much more tactically than this game. Which tells a lot about how low it is at the current moment.
compared to a high ranked player, who can actually shoot things, just gets instantly snap tapped. Even using cover doesn't matter much anymore cuz bots can literally use a crap caliber to shoot through everything meanwhile your guns struggle to even shoot thru wood.
Yes, I agree - bots are a turkeyshoot for some time now, with the latest update people just use molotovs to kill brigades of them.
Just wondered what kind of problems OP has - it's kinda difficult atm to get shot at all.
that match were fun. It is Citdal insurgent side and last zone the heil came and I RPG it down in last shot THEN they calling in Gunship. F we all hide but it 1 auto cannon HE round to our hiding spot and we all turn to pieces leave 2 survivor fight on their own and died to walking slowly bot and BAM BAM BAM BAM last shot of MK14 kill last survivor
I also advice to calm urself down. When I playing local I calmly play but when this I came back after quit for year COOP I too scare and rush for no reason after everyone die and only me left and all of them miss me while I hear they one tap our teammate but I die to suicide bomb behide prop. I not even see them but they can BOMB behide luggage holder thinggy can be found at hotel building and kill me inside behide plant pot
I've been suspect since the update about how bots are marking their prey. It used to seem weighted towards player level but since 1.14 it became much more random feeling. Note that I play exclusively hardcore, usually with a 40 ping or less on US East.
What I've noticed is that it takes an almost impossible amount of luck for me to make it through a round without dying. It's not that the bots are wiping the floor with everyone, as many rounds other players, of all levels, are going 50:0 (or more) K:D. I'm watching them play (because I'm dead) and they just aren't getting flatlined by random one taps.
I, on the other hand, can be tactical AF, crouching around with a silenced weapon having not made so much as a noise and I get popped by a silent bot running around a corner (sometimes they aren't even facing me yet before they fire; the reaction is so fast the animation of raising their weapon hasn't even played yet).
It's maddening but I have felt like, once the bots "make you a target" they're more likely to single you out or something. There have been dozens of times where I'm in a room with multiple team mates and I get plugged by the first bot to run through the door, only to watch my pal who is now standing over my corpse mow down a platoon's worth of bots while holding a point. It happens so often it's comical... I'd understand if I was the closest to the door or the first player the bot has line of sight on but they actively ignore other players to hunt me down sometimes! And I'm not the only one it's happening to.
One particular example was I was one tapped by a bot just as we capped the last point. I respawned, was one tapped so fast I respawned again, and was one tapped AGAIN, all by the same bot! Three times in three seconds with three bullets, and then watched two and a half minutes of my teammates mowing down lemming-level AI.
Anyway, TL;DR: 1.14+ bots seem to use some other metric for determining how much of a Terminator they're going to be. They seem to lock onto me from time to time where I'm just going to have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ match, but I don't know what has to happen to make them do that. I'm going to try experimenting with this accuracy idea because it would not at all surprise me that this was the dev's newest bandaid for their poor, stupid little aimbots.
Thanks for listening to me rant lol
Don't forget the hardcore bots' explosion proof suits. I've fired RPGs into 15'x15' rooms only to have 3 bots waiting for me firing squad style when I poke my head in the door
without source, how do you even make this up? xD
The source is experience and playtime.
