Did they drop support for linux?

I have been able to play before (about 2 months ago) but now I get an anti-cheat warning every time I join a lobby. Also figured out from testing a couple of distros that arch based distros always show an error so it's not even playable while fedora worked until now.

A new EAC was installed on 1.17, but no new dev follow-thru to make sure it (& all the other changes) work on ANYTHING but WINDOZE (& only 11 & 12 of that). Previously, the mostly included dependency lists allowed many Linux distros to function, while others didn't. So, now there is a UNIFORM policy regarding this imbalance: New World / Focus Home (NON-Interactive) say, "F*** LINUX!". $pend your Xmas money accordingly....(say the same right back at 'em, plus any & all others with the same disregard)....

Yea, used to think differently, but if game publishers/devs don't care for linux then I'm out, I guess it will save me some disk space for something that works.

Better late than never. Can confirm. I:S works on Linux again. Next time, try PRE-live testing?

Oh, are peeps still having lag/FPS issues from the switch to Direct-X 12? If so, try "-D3D11".

Can confirm, I just installed and haven't gotten kicked yet! :D finally can play again!

They have since updated the EAC because it isn't kicking me out anymore. IT WORKS :D
