Vegetation we can't see through but the bots can?
Fun.
Original team/owners ghosted out. They aren't developers anymore. They were ex-military with a passion project that ballooned into a franchise and likely went back to their private lives after selling their baby to the highest bidder.
Saber Interactive owns it now. They're a part of a big triangle of publishers, subsidiaries, & investment groups that scoop up studios, selling them & swapping em around for profit.
Saber used to be a subsidiary of a bigger version called Embracer group, but were sold back in March 2024.
Only chance for a good Insurgency 3 would be a spiritual successor by a motivated fan.
Current owners have no interest in a faithful adoption just money making and the core original audience knows it.
Yeah, Sabre has added so much new content.
They are maintaining the game. The community does the rest.
Geez, even Medicon was update this week.
