like the smoke bug? or the switch weapon bug? or the other variant of the same bug? very fun especially when you die to it in a push game on wave 0, or as the last man standing on firefight.
unfortunately arma has no such game deciding bugs, i don't even know why they made the weapons mechanics so flawless.
Played some arma 3 today, not much fun this time (have not played enough to experience a lot, and I need to voicechat actively),
is Insurgency Sandstorm fun without anyone else in a call, or is it normally more like standard gameplay? I shouldn't get ideas about the game from those funny moment videos either hehe
so u played KOTH kindergarten. honestly the worst gamemode in arma but understandably popular since it resembles battlefield. these days people just play it for nostalgia since older KOTH versions were more hardcore/barebones no bs with no "nerfing/balance"
you can use proximity voicechat in both games and need none of it in both games if you know what you're doing. if you're into RP and stuff there are public life servers but i never found them fun idk, also private communities that offer varied types of gameplay in both casual and milsim.
arma has unlimited gamemodes but for public who just wanna click once and get into a game obviously only a few major ones would be popular.
Game breaking bugs still present after years, company transparency about this game resembling a stone brick, community isn't being listened to aside from community managers who seem to be the only people trying to keep something afloat, nickle diming with dumb cosmetics in attempt to trick the few casual new players to buy them.
What you see in the game is what you get and it's even worse when you start to have hundreds of hours on record so you'll begin to see the bs in game. (I have 1,6k hours)
Certainly not worth the full price so if it's on sale then yea you can get few laughs out of it but this is just something to keep in mind.
Agh okay, thank you!
Okay, thank you!
Thanks for all the info! :D
