The mods.
I like sandstorm but I don’t want it to became so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ casual…
Do you also remember a great game that died off simply by community bleed-out ?
Like, ins is good, but you are holding it as this holy grail that it never was.
Both have their pros/cons.
But yes, I don’t like how they casualize things with updates, instead of improving upon the core selling points (the things that make this game unique).
Sandstorm is objectively a better version in almost every single ways than source, ask a person that has never played source or sandstorm to play both and give a review, sandstorm will always have a better review because the game IS better.
Stop clinging to nostalgia, source is good, but sandstorm is infinitely better at alot more things
I know it's probably too much expected from a diehard fanboy, but maybe the reason for why many people don't like Sandstorm is because they expected a general improvement of INS 2014? In this regard, Sandstorm completely failed.
I haven't even told you my opinion of how these games stack up, so it's a bit odd you already come to the conclusion that I'm "clinging to nostalgia".
I can list a gigantic list of pros and cons but it really doesn't matter how that objectively stacks up quantity wise. Because while 1 single feature can be very important for person A, feature 2+3+4+5 can be more important to person B. Comparing these things is like comparing apples to oranges so you always end up getting in a subjective discussion.
