Which night vision color is best?
Is there a night vision color that is more clear or reacts to light better out of green, amber, and white phosphorus?

Wp is great for dark/less light maps
Amber is great for bright/more light maps.
Green is more balance.
MC suck, not only its sensitive to light but its having hard time lighting up the dark areas. Its best to use it on close quarter or just like the other guy said, indoors.

Depends, some the lighting green hurts less for me bright lighting. White phosphor on bright light is blinding.

It really depends on the map. Amber works really well on Tideway, but seems to fail on all other maps. White phospor works good on the winter maps and the MC works well the more your indoors. At first green was an afterthought but seems now to work really well on most maps. The white also works good on long range objectives.

Green. WP is blinding, while MC sometimes doesn't work well to light up some dark areas

I'd say it's more down to personal preference. WP tends to be a more common choice from what I've seen with green and multi-colour being generally spit equal and amber the least. I'm a bit of an odd case due to my photophobia (light sensitivity) in which case amber is the best option as it's feels to be the 'darkest/softest' of the bunch.

If you're on a really dark map, WP can be a better option though. Green kinda sits right in the middle of the bunch, not blinding, but provides just enough in darker areas. I just can't run MC with my eyes, so I can't speak for that one. Keep attachments in mind as well. Since I'm essentially limited to the one option, an IR flashlight makes all the difference for me and with amber, it provides just the right amount of light for me.

Also keep gamma in mind. Everybody is going to have different settings on their monitors an in-game, so it can be quite a large difference between what they see compared to you even if you both run the exact same colour and NVG type.

Amber seems to bring out shadows and movement best for me.
WP is better for Longer distances WH offers a grey scale which is better for the eyes than AM or GH look it up, only problem is the game is a little unrealistic with how much Flash lights and fire Give off glare..

amber least bright one. best for your eyes. no further explanation necessary.
WH/P is best for you as of right now and MC multicolor is still in testing but is real for those wondering. Because IRL and I find in game it a - lot easier to use WH/P than Green.

IRL wise it helps you see farther and in more detail and lessens Eye strain, because Real Green NVG's can lead to temp discolored vision after a few hours

The correct answer is amber 😎

I'm realllllllllly late, but imo, the multicolored NVGs feel like gen 1s. Blurry, and need an IR torch. The FOV is nice, though, but color isn't THAT important in a tactical sense.

Multi-colored are a big no no for me. I find them really blurry and worse than the other options. Same with some ppl here, I prefer WP for really dark maps with not many light sources, and Green for every other situation. I'm not really big on amber but that's my own personal preference because I find the IR laser with WP and Green to look really cool :P
