Cheaters game

played a match since a long time ago. omg...only VAC baned kiddies playing. sry...multiple VAC baned noob kiddies playing. so bye again. hope for an INS in future with VAC protection.

Lots of aimbots. Just now I finished a Precinct map, and some guy using a honey badger head shot me when at the other end of the map, while moving, while predominantly looking the other way.

The sad part is that it's mostly servicemen on DOD servers. And what's worse is that they're mouthing off racist garbage and homophobic junk over the voice chat.

It's not kiddies. It's soldiers. At least in my case.

I've reported several, muted the voice chat, then enjoyed the game as I could.

You also have to ask yourself why they're doing it. I mean you expect some pre-teen with no manners to play like they're twelve years old, but adults? Post grads, no less. Whatever.

Have you notice that dev posting in other threads but never in those about cheaters. They pretend nothing happens when game is flooded with aimbots but even more wallhacks.

I can address this no problem.

I tend to reply to other posts where I have some insight to provide. Maybe a player is having some issues with something or trying to figure out how to get their dedicated server running. I am happy to help these players as I have something concrete to add.

However, as you can tell from this thread and the posts inside of it, this is mostly people putting out their frustrations on the forums because they encountered a cheater and had a negative experience with the game because of that. I'm okay with giving players the ability to voice their frustrations in a constructive manner, and I might even be able to use posts like these (posts) internally to highlight issues with the game. But in my opinion, if I came here and just told people to "report players in-game," I doubt that it would help the situation and probably annoy more people than it would help.

As I took the time to reply here and give some context, I will also note that if you (the reader) encounter a cheater in-game, you can report them here to Nyko: https://support.saber.games/

Please include the player's SteamID and a replay ID, and we'll be happy to review the replay and enforce a suspension when it is justified.

Sometimes it's hard to spot the cheat being used. And when I report it, whether via Steam VAC, MS or some other company, I never see the results of the report.

And when I last filed a cheat report with Steam or VAC, the report number was something like thirty digits long.

Like I posted on one of the threads in the VAC forum, I cut my teeth on Quake, Quake 2 and Jedi Knight, and used to be a top ranking player in all versions of CS. But now I can barely get a kill on anything. I'm an older guy, I realize that, but in 2012 or so is when cheating just exploded. Hacks and cheaters have always been around, but it was something manageable. Now it's out of control on all games. Or so it seems.

But thanks for the reply. Like I posted on some VAC threads, I'll probably just go back to singe player games. It's less annoying there.

You started helping people very recently what about all those years without any reply? :D

Maybe for the first time in many years, you (NWI) would do something about the cheating problem which is huge in this game as there is no single match without wallhack or aimbot and you as a company pretend there's no problem.

You don't have to come and reply to threads like this if you actually do something, but beacuse you ignore the problem to the point I really believe you want to squeeze this game dry before it dies you let everyone (including cheaters) in.

Because you refuse to do anything about cheating problem players instead of playing (I have few hours per week to play) I should come to the game and record cheaters so you can keep doing nothing about it and I should waste my playing time to catch cheaters for you. Is that correct?

I'm actually in a hotel suite doing government work, and have been on my own for over thirty years.

I was on the ground floor for computer games, not video games, but turned it down, though I was hopeful that the net and games could help unite people. It did, but brought out a lot of cheaters.

Unfortunately for me, a lot of them are servicemen; army, navy, air force, marines.

Not to mention you think ricochet is any good as an anticheat, that trash hasn't caught even 1/10th of the cheaters that plague CoD.

And getting an anticheat for free? Are you all good up there buddy? Cause if you were you'd know they have to pay for the anticheat

No way youre ignorant enough to believe ricochet is a good anticheat. I see aimbotters in cod warzone all the time. The dev is right, cheaters are in every game. How about instead of being lazy, you report the players to the link that the dev provided in this thread? If you don't, you don't deserve to yap your mouth on here.

thing is, i am from asia and almost every pvp game i play, there is always at least 1 cheater, its too time consuming to be reporting all of them as the cheating market is rampant in here
