It changed when UE4.27.2 was merged in last year.
I literally played last month / beginning of this month with dx12 renderer and RTSS having no issues at all. I started having these crashes very recently which is weird.

Other than that: Win updates, RTSS/MSI AB updates, etc.
I didn't update anything since I played Sandstorm last time. I might have moved to work driver for GPU due to newer drivers having some issues with other games.
But that is irrelevant considering that this is clearly RTSS issue and as far as I am aware there were no game updates in this period of time.
Works fine without RTSS. I don't think it's Windows issue if anything it could be GPU driver. But even that is quite unlikely,
Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0005 - 'REMOVED')Insurgency Client Win64 Shipping
Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried most of the steps available online except for reinstalling the game after the latest update.
Verify files.
That doesn't always help, just temporary solution. Reducing some of the graphical settings seems to help though.
Usually unstable driver or GPU clocks, sometimes caused by incompatibile desktop settings, overlays or other injectors that affect rendering (D3D mods), and so on.
Could it have something to do with Steam overlay, GeForce Experience overlay or something like that?
If you look into Event Viewer this event will be logged either with Critical or Error severity if it happened.
If it didn't, your other apps severed the connection between the driver and the engine.
