Best MK18 loadout?
Topic. I like to run around in objectives with it along with the trusty .45.

A lot of it is a matter of preference. But, we can say this. It's a CQBR rifle.
It's short in length, very well suited, intended, for close combat engagements.
It uses 5.56, so less stopping power / shot than a 7.62 weapon have.
It's got a high rate of fire which suits it's close quarter intended use.
The iron sights are very friendly for the close quarters aspect.

So, I'd likely at least use a small carrier with this weapon.
Because not that high damage / shot, but a high fire rate.
I'd pick a silencer to help with landing more shots before found.
The grip is a good choice for control in many situations.
Extended magazine as well for more overall damage capacity.

My choice would be a carrier of some sort.
The suppressor, grip and extended mag.
Sidearm and explosives would change.
Breacher get C4, Advisor use a nade.
Likely based on situation and need.

Suppressor and foregrip. Extended mags if you have the points and want to use them on it. The irons are probably the best in the game, so optics aren’t needed unless you want the aesthetic.

Mk18 + Suppressor
OR
Mk18 + RDS x1 + Flash Hider + Extended Magazine
OR
Mk18 + RDS x2 + Flash Hider

Spending more than 3 points on weapon attachments is a waste for the most part, unless you're spending it launchers or extended magazines for machine guns.

Once you learn how to control your recoil, you can afford to build more efficient loadouts.

If you're not using the suppressor as advisor you should probably switch classes. That said, you should probably also use the SCAR-H as advisor if you really want to be utilizing the class, otherwise you could be playing as breacher.

I'd figure the silencer is pretty damn loud, maybe not as loud as with the bare muzzle but still I swear enemies can still hear me! It's a good loadout though. One last thing.. What is your general opinion on the MK17 Mod 0 tho?

Well, it's one of the lower damage per shot rifles that use 7.62 like the AKM.
It's got decent penetration and usually kills in two to three chest shots.
Also a short weapon, so it's easy to still aim it in cramped places.

Suppressor depends on the gun. Submachine guns are quieter to begin with, and suppressed you almost can't hear them unless you are really close by. Conversely, large caliber rifles can be heard even when suppressed from a further distance.

The MK17 is slightly underwhelming compared to the other battle rifles, but it's pretty controllable in full auto comparatively speaking, and still has higher penetration and damage than 5.56 guns. Think of it as a big M4 in a way.
