What's your opinion on best camo pattern for Security?

Currently I'm using POLYPAT (which is, obviously, an alias for MultiCam) and it seems to work fine, but for some reason the most expensive camo is Tigerstripe, and I often notice people wear it. Is it really good? I can easily believe that, taking into account its colours – they must easily blend in the environment. But is it worth 1000 points? I really could spend them on other stuff.

Concerning Insurgents, I doubt there's something to discuss. I usually choose black and tan clothes to get at least moderate camo effect, but most folks seem no to care about that and knock themselfes out wearing red T-shirts and red trousers.

price for camo is really just because it looks cool. Insurgents I use anything that doesnt make me look like security (no yellow, green etc.)

I wouldn't say camo really matters, skilled players will spot you anyway.

I bough Tiger Stripes with purple shades and used that ugly haircut just to make my character look punchable.

I'd mostly agree with p0tat0, but I think some of the camouflage does seem to help you blend in with some environment like some of the desert camouflage.

Though yes, mostly it's just for looks and I usually won't rely on my camouflage to help me hide in the environment.

desert smear is probably the most effective at blending in.

I think its just that it doesnt let him buy it. Its not tigerstripe its just that sometimes you cant buy certain items for some reason

The sleeves. The stripes are verticals on the sleeves. It is incorrect for the pattern, and is a mistake because the sleeves are correctly horizontal in first person.
