Compensator on a sniper rifle or a shotgun?
What's the point of that? I'm not that bothered by it, I just find it kind of funny. There's no way you could fire a sniper rifle fast enough for recoil to be a factor, even with a greased bolt. Same with shotguns.

yeah all a compensator does is lessen the shooters felt recoil, thus increasing accuracy over multiple shots (although you still lose your sight picture after the first shot). for semi auto its kind of justifiable, not really in my opinion, but for a bolt gun or something that doesnt work a semi auto action its pretty much pointless. on a shotgun it could, although most likely almost negligebley, tighten the spread as it increases the barrels overall length. but in a game as cqb as this one i dont think theres any reason to put a compensator on, in fact this goes for all weapons in this game.

At that point you'd might as well use a choke.
