I believe the flechette rounds do, and the slugs are one shot kills from a considerable distance.
But, a slug is not armor piercing, and shouldn't really be giving you better armor penetration. It will do a lot more blunt trauma force to the person behind the armor than a 5.56, but it won't penetrate.
Flechettes don't even exist as feasible shotgun rounds anymore. As far as I know it's just novelty ammo that no one uses. They were experimental in Vietnam. They sent out lots of little strait needles. I am aware of no real advantage they offer over buckshot. They will mildly penetrate soft body armor better, but won't penetrate plate armor. Theoretically they are suppose to have more energy at longer range, not losing it as fast as buckshot, but in practice they have their own problems.
