Can we select what map we want to play?

I'm just asking you devs to add a feature to select a map we want to play. I'm asking for this because I and I'm sure many other people aren't able to play on anything else then farmhouse as all the other maps are still unomptimized. Thank you in advance.

We are most likely going to get this feature later. It was a feature in Day of Infamy and Insurgency 2, so why not?

That's something that hasn't been confirmed 100% but it's more than likely that we'll get that at a later date. This is just a beta, so we don't get to select what maps we want.

Since we dont know when the next optimization update will come, I would play Farmhouse all the time if we're able to choose maps. Maybe Hideout as well.

Don't forget - there gonna be working server browser , so u'll be able to choose a server with map u want to play.

That's true but I think just choosing a map would be much simpler for everyone.

Turn your shader cache down to 400 and the lag should go away. Also use full screen. I was having issues until I did that.

That's true but I think just choosing a map would be much simpler for everyone.

Maybe I'm just not finding those games, but games like Insurgency and other team/co-op shooters tend to have browsers instead of long and perpetually expanding lists on matchmaking screens to select individual maps.

Something like Left 4 Dead is an exception. But community made maps are likely going to be added to the rotation of official maps and it's a bit silly to put in buttons to accomodate for all the new arrivals.

A server browser is essentially what you're looking for, it just takes an extra few mouse clicks to get the desired result.
