Most popular class (checkpoint)

Which one do you think is most popular? Personally I'd bet that it's demolitions. And I'm betting on that one because it's my favourite class and I get to play it very rarely.

Gunner is the runner up, I think. Wondering if you guys are seeing the same first picks I am.

I see machinegunner go unfilled quite often whereas demo is almost always taken. I also always see at least 1 person go advisor but I think the most popular is actually rifleman. I will see people pick rifleman even when all the others slots are open.

That's rather surprising. I would ask if those are usually low level players that may be new to the series, but I honestly don't really look at levels most of the time.

I never see gunner filled first. I always see advisor filled quickly since they have great weapons.

Rifleman is the most versatile class; you're not expected to do a specific job so you can do whatever helps. I usually pick rifleman class for this reason, although I can snipe and breach pretty well, and I can quite manhandle an RPG (if I could pick one up).

I usually play commander when there is people playing observer without one. But then that means I have to chase the observers to call in strikes :(

I have to say marksman, there's always someone trying to employ a 7x on the bolt action. Really grinds my gears because it's easily the most useless class.

Yeah the sniper rifles don’t have many advantages to normal rifles, just limitations like firing speed and such. Snipers are really only good for a very long range, which there isn’t much of in this game. To be honest, when have you ever needed anything above a 3x or 4x scope? You really don’t, so using the sniper rifle against others with assault rifles is just painful.

Advisor or rifleman for me all day every day...don't care if there isn't an observer lol.

It rarely happens that I am engaged by enemies at long range and most of the time my basic AKM works just fine in semi auto mode. WHEN I GET MY DEMO CLASS, THAT IS.

I tend to grunt and go breacher instead when it's taken, running around with a shotgun. Those still have crazy range, too. Not as much as the rifles but then I'll just leave those enemies to teammates.
