Sometimes that option may not apply for some reason.
Right click desktop and go to the Nvidia control panel and make sure vsync is off and your FPS isn’t capped from there.

Above suggestions are correct, if you're stuck at 60 FPS you have VSync enabled somewhere and are running on a 60 Hz monitor, or a higher end monitor that is on a 60 Hz setting.

Keep in mind a 60 Hz monitor refreshes 60 times per second. Increasing the FPS beyond 60 can sometimes net you small gains in input latency, however it can also lead to screen tearing in some cases. One of the reasons VSync exists is to prevent the screen tearing effect.

I'm all for turning it off personally, but if you start to see any sort of screen tearing after you do, that's why.

There's currently known issue where certain video settings sticks even if you change them. For the time being, set global video details to whichever you like, then adjust these manually.

That should reset these settings.

Hello
I got the same issue too.
Using AMD RX 580 with AMD Adrenalin Software and i can confirm Frame Rate Limiter is set to OFF within the AMD Adrenalin Software.

Whenever i start the game somehow the game effects the AMD Adrenalin Software and enables the Frame Limiter within the AMD Software to 60 FPS.

Then i do alt-tab and set frame limiter again to Off manually.

Frame Limiter in game also is disabled.Dont know what causes this but every other game works normally.

Looks like a bug between AMD Software and Game.

sorry have to refund the game... removing gsync made the game worse cant get it over 20fps and i have a GTX 1060... my friend has a 980 and running everything on very high smooth so idk whats going on with the optimization. I play any other AAA game at 1440p at high just fine but this game :( hopefully its better in the future. loved the previous insurgency game.

Wow, neat, you necroed an old topic for the purpose of adding absolutely NO new info Solutions were already mentioned earlier in this thread. I can pretty much guarantee this is not still a common issue, as I've never encountered it (even when I swapped cards) and that if it were a more common issue, you wouldn't have had to dig up a 4 year old thread to resurrect.

Keep in mind that main menu is intentionally capped at 60FPS.
