Local coop?

Steam says the game has local coop. We are talking split-screen coop? That would be very surprising to hear and make me very inclined to buy the game.

Local means with bots against bots. Coop is online only.

I'm confused by how that fulfills the definition of "local coop".

Local coop means cooperative play of multiple players achieved on one system. Does the game do that? And if not, why does it have the local coop tag? I don't think that's what that tag is meant for...

Not sure why it's there to be honest.
So for now it's =
Online coop -> yes
Local coop -> no
Local game -> yes, with bots only

This is confusing. So it really just means that there is bot support? Or is there a special coop game mode of some kind? Because I wouldn't consider playing against multiplayer bots to be the same thing as coop.

If it's not a separate thing, the tags should really just be multiplayer and singleplayer.

online coop = players (your team) VS bots AI = PvE

I know most PC games do not support splitscreen local co-op games...developers and publisher seems to see this market to be dead (they do not really serve it), even today or last years consoles do relatively rarely have it compared to around 2000 area, in which local-coop, playing with friends was possible with so many great great games and it was done over and over again.

I want to ask @devs, within your plans to release this game on console as well and with the fact that you seem to be very innovative and community friendly developers, is there a way to discuss this topic? Is there the possibility to bring this awesome feature into this beautiful game?

I know it may is costful and most people play MP, but this game has wonderful ai and potential and fits so damn good to be local playable, even if you just serve a niche with it again, it would be a very outstanding thing and add anohter great value to this game. Again, I can only speak of a little people amount as me, but offline and especially local co-op against ai is SO MUCH MORE relaxing sometimes (different gameplay) related to stressfull MP, which is why many people prefer this completely over it. Im very sure many people would play it locally together if they got the equipment, I would for sure and not less.

Theres also games like SW Battlefront 2, which for example has local coop, but JUST for console while PC player are outcluded from this -_-... just want to say if there is the possibility, I would be so happy to have this both for console players in the future and for PC! Thanks for reading.
