Fixing Anti-Cheat error message

Checking the integrity of the Steam files will fix the issue.

1. Right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game's Library page on the far right
2. From the drop down menu, select Properties...
3. Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes

Well there's a new flavour of EAC kick now:
"Kicked from server: Anti-Cheat: Corrupt or invalid backend message"


I also have this error today, until yesterday everything was ok

waking up this morning and having the error message. Tried the pinned solution - > Did not work. Deleted the local files and resinstalled after verification -> Still getting the error message

I first had the error last night, couldn't fit it after trying several things. Almost 24 hours later, I try to log on and have no problem.

and now all you can do is uninstall the game, I bought this game since it released on steam ,and now I tried EVERY methods but still not working.
my other EAC game just run fine, just this one ......

In steam I had this code in my launch option:

" -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -NoGlobalInvalidation -dx12 -malloc=tbbmalloc/system "

After removing it and updating Nvidia Geforce Experience to latest update seemed to help.
La est Update: Version 516.40.

I've been able to run a few games now

Only dx12 is actually helpful if you can deal with texture streaming issues

You leave the game for like a year and a half thinking that surely things can only improve, but in fact its getting worst somehow..

Is it an EAC related issue? I keep hearing that EAC is kicking people from a number of games with the usual copy/paste answers you get not working. First time I got it on this game though.

Everyone needs to make a support ticket at the NWI web site. Maybe then we'll get a fix. I created my support ticket about 3 - 4 months ago.
