Is it worth it for local play with bots?

I often play single player games and offline due to really bad internet connection. I've seen the game has offline bots, is it worth getting to play with bots?

A lot of us really only play co-op with bots and it's fun! I think there are some bot mods on mod.io too, could make it more interesting. I guess with local you'll be missing out on that cooperative experience with other players, which is definitely part of the fun.

In local play you can´t really interact with AI teammates, you can´t even use tactical support such as gunship etc. They´ll just run to objective like headless chickens and die most times.

I agree with you -- except that you can call for support if you take Commander. Simply point your binoculars while AI-observer is out-of-range and LMB click. It will call out "Observer!" and it will come to you.

u can also change lots of things in ini files to modify local play i did it and one local play match takes me atleast 1 hour to complete u can also play other modes with the help of admin menu

Definitely. The friendly AI are bad though so you just disable them and run some mods to enable dual primaries and fire support. So much variety in this game when playing locally. On servers you're pretty limited to what modes and limited flavors they run (mutators). Locally you can play a different flavor every time on any number of maps. Scavenger, Vampirism, pistols only, shotguns only, supply gain, zombies, Checkpoint, survival, frenzy, ww2 weapons only, respawns, unlimited bots, limited bots, increasing bot counts with progress, huge number of community maps, ultra lethal, hunt and destroy, you name it. You just have to do the work and start them using the console.
