It's fine when it isn't peak hours. As soon as peak hours happen, the servers go to ♥♥♥♥ and I see people 1000 ping trying to play. I've never been aggro to high pings but I cna't play this game at peak hours anymore.
I feel like we're playing on the cheapest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers that the internet can support.
Same for me....
Would be interesting if the above complaints are actually based on "On server X I got ping of 70, now - after the patch - I get ping 270 on the same server" .... or if it's another unsubstantiated "I connect to random servers and get different pings"?!
But are you connecting to the SAME servers as before and now have 200+ pings vs. 50-70 before?
Are you playing on official servers or community hosted servers?
I play on the same two servers all the time and have not seen any increase in ping.....so it is likely to be a server issue.
Try rebooting your router or modem, make sure you are having a good wireless signal or lan connection.
Configure your internet settings properly for gaming, and low latency.
Make sure that you are the only one using the internet.
Also, make sure that there are no applications in background heavily using your internet connection, including steam downloads.
