The thing is, the 6900 XT is supposed to be cheaper than the 3090 but in reality it's not. I live 20 minutes from a Micro Center and the price for a 6900 XT ranges from $2150 to $2850. Because of AIB MSRPs, a 6900 XT on average costs more than a 3090.

You could try to get a 6900 XT direct from AMD but realistically you probably won't succeed. Like Nvidia's Founder's Edition cards, AMD's reference cards are barely produced. They are sold at a very low margin or at a loss just so that they can legally announce price points like a 3080 for $699 or a 6900 XT for $1000. In reality, almost no one is actually getting these cards for those prices.

I also want to share my thoughts about the 6900 XT. Even at the imaginary price points AMD set, it is not a good value. It only slightly outperforms the 6800 XT which is much cheaper.

Now lets look at the RTX 3090. By imaginary Nvidia MSRPs, It cost more than double than the 3080 while only being around 10% faster in games. So for gaming, the 3090 is also a terrible value.

But despite what Nvidia's marketing department thinks, the 3090 is not really something gamers should be buying. The true value of the 3090 is its VRAM, 24GB verses the 10GB the 3080 has. That makes it a really good value for those who need a card for productivity purposes such as 3D rendering and machine learning. The 3090 makes sense if you aren't just using it for games. The 6900 XT on the other hand does not have anything to justify it's price point over the 6800 XT.

Then go play some dx9 dx10 games and some 'not so AAA famous' games.

Then game with crash or give dx3dll error everytime with amd card

thats the silliest thing i ever read, people buy amd since it provides good enough performance for way cheaper than nividia. i got a radeon vii (vega) and it has good performance at 1440p on every single game besides cyberpunk which the game itself is to blame not the card. sure not all of vega cards do as well but who gives a ♥♥♥♥ if someone has less frames than you. it literally doesnt matter.

not everyone can justify the huge price tag that nividia has.

vega64 isnt rdna2 meathead. i never heard ANYONE say vega is the best, you are literally making things up, people only ever got amd vega cards since it was cheaper than nividia, but now the RDNA2 cards are here they actually have similar performance to nividia and guess what people are happy with them, just like people are happy with their RDNA2 next gen consoles. get over yourself.
