BRING BACK AN-94 IN GAME!!

ak74 /ak74u was made to use 5.45 mm after soviets found out 5.56 was actually more lethal against humans in cqc than 7.62.

akm and ak47 tho. the difference in making them in factory, more or less the industry level.

ak47 was made with milling but akm was made with steel pressing, which is more easier and cheaper to mass produce. so basically ak47 and akm is the same thing.
but akm is cheaper. Anyway.

AN-94 was a follow up gun to replace the ak74 in 1994.

it used 5.45 by 39mm. Using a long recoil style and a feeder, it could fire 2 burst really fast.
it also used rails, and made long range fire easier with western style iron sights.

it was used by spetnaz and some field army cuz it was selected as army weapon in 2000s.
but cuz soviet collapsed to russia, they couldnt fund the gun to be widely used.

but still, it kinda got adopted here and there after ruskies started to militazed again.

so next update an-94 might get added cuz why not. its being used still nowadays and makes more sense than ISIS using QBZs and QTS

Are you sure about that? The QBZ-97 is an export variant of the chinese QBZ-95, which has an estimated production run of several million rifles.

Meanwhile, the AN94 barely sees use in the country it was designed in as the AK-74M is considered the better rifle in the russian army, which indicates that production numbers are rather low(possibly a few thousand?).

I don't mind you fantasizing about the AN94 in this game because it a fun gun to play with in video games(BFBC2 comes to mind for me personally), but it would suffer from the same syndrome that the QTS-11 and AS VAL have; it doesn't fit the theme of the game. Doesn't ISMC have it by any chance?

your logic is not valid cuz you are basically saying all the weapons in the game from welrod to VHS does not have any cleaning or dust issues to them lmao.
some weapons are prototypes, some are not mass produced, some are not fit in middle east settings.
this game is not mil sim realism simulator and the an-94 fits the atmosphere of modern warfare so why not?

this game does not take into account any 'gun problems' from cartridge cases/shells not ejecting properly or spring messed up or anything else.

just bcuz an-94 was maybe not the best reliable gun in real world doesnt mean it cant make it in the game.

why are you even coming with that reliability stuff. this game is not squad or tarkov milsim.

if you are so interested in 'irl gun reliability' please go play arma or squad. afaik, sterling in game had issues like the gun may fire by itself and some security guns are very prone to jam. you never said anything about those gun being in the game but somehow an-94 cant?

Some maps have rivers in it. Why don't you go all the way to 'realism in real life' and say some guns in game should not even fire properly after you go crouch or prone in the river there? jesus all these military otakus and their 'oh its not realistic' logics

Honestly I really enjoy russian weapons, so an-94 would be welcome, but spamming 3+ posts a day isn't exactly the best way to go about it.

Personally I'd love the ak-12 and ak-15 and perhaps the ak-19, but I'd be fine if the ak-12 and ak-15 were just reskins of the ak-74 and akm.
