G3a3 is a battle rifle that is security exclusive, last I checked, with the FAL as counterpart for insurgents.
The G36K is an 'assault rifle' that is security exclusive.
The MG3 is a LMG/GPMG that is insurgent exclusive, and is effectively a 'modernized' MG34/MG42 style gun.
Lmao, I just saw G3 and was very confused. I checked, and you're right.
The MG3 is quite a chunky piece of equipment and chews through ammo quickly. So in order to be used effectivly it needs at least 2 men to operate (One shooting and one feeding ammo). Therefore it´s not really suitable to use it in this independent operater/contracter setting the Security faction is set in.
The Insurgents on the other side have easy access to weapons from pakistan and are said to be badly trained (using the MG wrong).
I don't know why you have this 'it was made by germans, therefore security should have it' delusion, but it really makes no sense.
Enjoyed using both of those SMG's in the previous Ins game.
