how is the single player experience?
I only have one other friend who is interested in playing this with me. We usually play Ghost Recon Wildlands or Breakpoint but I want to try this out. He thinks it's too hardcore though, so I might be playing mostly solo.

I want to know if this game is playable or fun on your own with AIs, and comparing to games like Zero Hour, which would provide the better PvE experience? Thank you!

thanks a lot! Can you elaborate a bit on command line usage? Is it like console commands?

It's for pc currently and is awkward to interface with, but allows for running all vanilla maps and all community maps in all modes with mods and mutators that are all built into the game. A few that I like:

PistolsOnly - I run this with bots having full loadouts so I have to scavenge their weapons
ShotgunsOnly - I run this with bots having shotguns as well
Vampirism - steal health from enemies as you deal damage
SoldierOfFortune - gain supply as you go, which is great to start with a pistol and end with multiple primaries
Frenzy - zombie like mode with bots running at you
RoundProgress (mod) - save progress thru checkpoint, then up bot count to like 30 :)
FullKit (mod) - enables firesupport and 2 primaries in solo
Example:
open Buhriz?Scenario=Scenario_Tideway_Checkpointy_Security?Mutators=RoundProgress,SoldierOfFortune,Vampirism

CO-OP is the best. PVP is pretty dead. The game is no where near hardcore. I stay it's pretty straight forward couple shots and your dead and just going from one objective to the next. Thats basically it. No planning. Just run and gun. and AI teammates are trash. Playing Solo is pretty hard though sense you die in 2 to 3 shots. sometimes just one if the AI scores a head shot. Recommend playing with randoms and with a friend if possible. That's the best experience to have with this game.

Thanks. Yeah my friend prefers a more casual experience (e.g. not die in few shots, more gun blazing, just having goofy fun with a chopper etc) so Ghost Recon is more his cup of tea. I'm pretty tired of those Ubisoft games and want something more like this.
I figured it's better with COOP too but I don't want to force him playing something he might not enjoy and I don't like playing with strangers either :/
So I might just get this on sale and have a bit of fun myself.
Thanks for the info!

pvp isn't dead, it takes about 15 seconds to find a full match.

this sounds awesome, it would be great if I can just pop those up and have some fun solo without having to worry about other people.
