Is the Year 1+2 worth it?
Hi,
I want to buy the game for Playstation, and I am thinking of buying the regular version or the one that has Year 1+2, but is it only skins? So why is it so expensive?

I'd just buy the base game and buy a skin set if you really want it. It adds nothing substantial to the game and there are plenty of cosmetics in the game.

I wouldn't buy in until you know what other skins are gonna be available.
The new Insurgency side headgear is unrealistic futurism crap.
The security headgear is only available in tan so no uniform camo or sand colour.

I bought most of the skins as they were released and honestly most look like crap. the stuff you buy with credits look better

You don't need skins to enjoy the game so why buy it, you ca't see them while playing and the base game has tons. in fact your more likely to stand out in base stuff as loads of folk are rocking the same few skins from the DLC.

There’s so much customisation in the base game that you won’t run out of things to unlock for a very long time.

Buy skins if you really like the game and want to support the devs later.

They’re expensive because most of us that buy them aren’t doing it for the skins but rather to support a small-ish developer and keep the game alive. They absolutely aren’t worth the price.

I'd only buy Desert Hex and True Grit weapon skins. Everything else looks awful.

weapon skins by themselves would be around $15-$20. they are the only thing that gives your character a little more flair due to the fact that there are no normal weapon skins that you can unlock. character customization is pretty great overall so don't touch any of those cosmetics. i'm getting sick of seeing mesh mask and chungus riot armor.

Thanks everyone.
Bought for PS5, normal edition for 40 USD thanks to all of you.
You have saved me 40 additional USD so I will spend it to buy Judgement.
The game on PS5 has weird sound bugs and looks... dated. Will download it for PC as well to compare.
Have a great weekend everyone!
