What exactly is the point of using an ACE-52 or a TAVOR?

I really don't understand the logic behind adding two exotic weapons to a specialist class and making them inferior to the standard large caliber rifleman weapons like the FAL and G3. Perhaps I'm missing something.

They've been made with CQ engagement in mind, unlike FAL and G3A3, so they're good in CQC(feels better to use them than FAL
Its also oneshots no armor
Their barrel is shorter(CQ gun ofc)
Recoil is much easier to control (dunno why ppl say that FAL better in recoil, maybe bc they just once tried it on CTE, and now look on stats)
Also everything looks like that FAL will get a big nerf in Clean Sweep or in 1.8

What you are missing are all the crybaby comments like
"Where are the guns. Boo hoooo. Game does not have enough guns whiiiiiiiiine"

So they ad new guns and now, like you, there is a whole new group complaining that they are adding weapons.

If you don't like the additional weapons, don't bloody use them, but stop complaining about added content you get for nothing.

Every weapon in the Advisor class is only roughly on par with their Rifleman alternatives, stats-wise. In game, though, skill is way more important than a stat line. And in life, looking cool is more important than either. Every Advisor class weapon is cooler than its Rifleman alternative (except the L85, which should die in a fire), automatically making them all (except the L85, which should die in a fire) better guns.

I'm just curious if they were added for variety or if they want it to fill a specific role.

Variety might be enough. I usually use the FAL but sometimes I just want to switch class and try something that handles differently.

Because it's a garbage rifle in real life. The only reason the British military hasn't outright abandoned the SA80 family is because they're too broke to afford something better en masse and too proud to have their grunts running around with non-British rifles.

You know how when you get too close to a wall you raise your weapon? scar-h, ace-52 and the tavor can peak corners inside buildings better than the long rifles like the fal, g3, m16a2 and m16a4 while preserving the high caliber performance. so basically seregauser right about its CQC design

What exactly is the point of this thread? I'd always pick ACE-52 or Tavor over G3 and FAL, people use what they like and like the others said ACE and Tavor perform better in CQC.
