Is armor worth it?
Doesnt seem like it so far? I tried running with the max armor for a bit but still got 1 tapped by about everything. Also makes you so slow..

Personally I don't use it.

As a general rule in PVP, no. There are very situational times where it makes a little sense.

In co-op, since you get so many points, why not.

Weight effects movement momentum, stamina, and time to ads if I’m to believe what I’m told. I wish these were more measurable and had more impact as it were. So I may be wasting my time going light on hardcore all these hours later. Most noticeable impact of armor that I can confirm is your pride.

Might increase survival chances a little bit, if you don't need mobility when for example defending an objective on push, you could consider buying armor. Or when being machine gunner or sniper. Otherwise nah.

It helps alot when defending an Objective, it gives alot of protection against explosives, and i guess ok protection against bullets. Surviving 1 more bullet is better than dying in 1 hit.

You should choose it based on what you're doing.

it depends on your play style but you will always die to every round in 1-2 hits apart from 9mm taking maybe 4 shots but usually i don't bother running it unless i plan on taking nade hits

It never has been, still isn't, in any game mode.

Nope. Best use those points elsewhere, even in Coop.

Speaking about Coop mode - no visible difference - the Heavy Armor feels the exactly the same as the Light Armor - so no perceptible difference against fire or grenade explosion or bullet damage.

Heavy armor covers your junk, but if you do that how will the enemy know when to run?
Armours are alright for nades and smaller calibers and very long distance shots, gives a bit of that extra protection so it might make a difference. However, most folk use rifles so those will shredd you anyway. Good investment in certain scenarios, I usually equip it if I want to increase my survivability.

I play coop mode 99.95% of the time and after 60 hours, I switched to no armour and grabbed max ammo. I just find armour only slows movement, doesn't seem to do anything? Maybe explosions or clutch situations against certain caliber bullets +1 times. Best of luck.

You'll still die if you wear heavy armor, because your death is 95% by weapons, and you'll either get soaked with bullets on FULL AUTO, or get sniped from distance, and heavy armor WILL NOT HELP YOU FROM THIS. it seriously slows you down yet costs so much. But on the other hand it really saves you when it comes to explosions (for example if you're capturing a point), and some time later you'll realize that it doesn't make much sense since you've spent 3 points yet you could upgrade your weapon to max and kill people right and left. I'd recommend you to wear light armor, or even no armor at all, and spend remaining points somewhere else, for example take the smoke launcher and smoke grenades, and boom, you've just made a good opportunity to capture some points.

That feel when .45 ACP is powerful enough to double tap through heavy armor
