what's the point? what you people expect to see in workshop mods? desert eagle for m1911 so you can have desert eagle that requries 3 shots to kill? Kriss Vector for mp7? Why? In previous insurgency you coudl install deagle for colt and enjoy it cause all guns can one shot kill anyone, but in this one there is strict meta, I don't get what's the point in modding this one

It's probably gonna be just like Squad, Workshop is gonna come, but it's gonna be maps only for a ♥♥♥♥ ton of years.

show me at least one game with character customization where there are player mods? Also knowing NWI you wouldn't be able to use mods that changes world models on official servers cause there would be bright blue/red mods that basically give you very high contrast, you would be able to use mods only in coop and/or community servers that would be empty all the time

well I'll explain for those who don't have imaginative thinking and need exact sentences:
show me any game where you can customize your in game character with different clothes, and at the same time can use mods that changes textures/meshes of these customizable parts and play on official servers with enabled customization mods

+ it has healthy community servers, so if you don't like to play with people who have invisible scopes that just have floating point for easy aiming or people who have bright skins for easy identification, you can just play on communit server with disabled mods. Sandstorm can't afford this, so I highly doubt client mods would be allowed on official servers.

Correct, there won't be mods on the official matchmaking servers... they're strictly for vanilla game play, since we can't select what official servers we want to join. That way no one can accidentally be put into a match they don't have the content for.

Community created maps/mods will only be available on the community servers, that have been unused by the majority of this community in favor of the official matchmaking servers.
