I know that feeling...
The AI usually one shot me around a corner (whatever I already aimed and shot first anyway, but let's say it is because of my ping...it is even worse in MP), one shot me from far while running or through cars, windows and and even walls. They also throw perfect Molotov or grenade on my position when they do not appear from nowhere ganging up on me in 1 second, or just follow me for assassination (hence my habits to be careful with left behind enemies). I also love the explosions which kill me through thick walls or floors while my team mates are fine while within a closer radius and just protected by stalls or else...
By assassination, I mean when AI will for no reason avoid killing people right next to them or in their line of sight but will kill me, who is further or running to cover.
If I secure an objective à la Last Man Standing, I can be sure the game is going to make me pay in a very miserable way right after... (Oh a grenade from nowhere, oh an enemy hidden just beside the secured objective, oh a stray bullet, oh a zombie raccoon...)
Funny anecdote: The AI regularly throw grenades / Molotov with devilish precision in the room I take position (or even open space). If I am not with my team mates, strangely, less or no grenades / Molotov thrown in the room where they take position.
But I also witness team mates meeting quite an unfair end as well
I wonder if it is a kind of way to give a Saving Private Ryan kind of feel. Like trying to show that war is absolute danger and unfairness.
Yeah talking also makes them kill you.
