If your loadout has a pistol and no primary, you should get double the number of pistol magazines you would have otherwise.

There should just be a separate carrier option for pistol magazines.

I'm not sure which of the options I like better, but either would be superior than none.

The reason this doesn't exist is because you can pick up a weapon and then fill ammo for it...

They'd have to make it so you can only carry 1-2 mags for it...

Then you'd be stuck only being able to carry 1-2 mags, even if you used all your pistol ammo... unless they programed some variable mag carrying system.

I've mained pistols before and it's doable just not for long at all with the current mag restriction.

Even if pistols had the same amount of ammo as primaries they're worse in every other aspect, the only thing I like about maining a pistol is running speed.
